T-Rex is really pulling out some new things lately, the last one is a new pedal serie called ToneBug that, by now, includes two small effect stompboxes that try to bring back some vintage tones naturally, these two are called ToneBug Reverb that wants to re-create real-life performance environments, and ToneBug Overdrive that has all the blues sound, when it was only made by a tube amp and a guitar, inside a compact box.
The features of the T-Rex ToneBug Reverb Pedal are decay and depth controls, modern and spring mini-toggle switch and on/off footswitch and LED. While the T-Rex ToneBug Overdrive Pedal features gain, tone and level controls and on/off footswitch and LED. These pedals are powered by a 9V battery or DC adapter and include mono 1/4″ input and output.
Both models look really vintage and they seem to rock, but this and other data like release date, price or other features should wait until the 2009 Winter NAMM show, we’ll see.
